The MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center offers you a full range of patient resources services as part of our multi-disciplinary team. You and your family are encouraged to participate in the programs and activities organized by our staff.

Resources available at MD Anderson's Integrative Medicine Center

At The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, you will find different activities and events taking place that may interest you. You will find events such as luncheons, yoga classes, informational sessions and more. MD Anderson’s Integrative Medicine Center offers classes for patients and caregivers.

The mission of the Integrative Medicine Program is to optimize health, quality of life and clinical outcomes through integrative medicine education and research-driven clinical care.

MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center Support Groups

Spine tumor support group
Support and education for primary and metastatic spine tumor patients and their caregivers.

When: 1st Wednesday of the month, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Support group for depression and anxiety
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used to build positive thinking skills and reduce negative thought patterns.
When: Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m. – noon

Well-wives: For any woman whose husband has cancer
For female family members when the male is the cancer patient. Women only.
When: Thursdays, 4:00 p.m.
